A replica of a beaded Swarovski Ring.

     Through my line of work we handle Swarovski crystals everyday and it really seems like no big thing.  I've never, however, made one of these. 

One of the ladies that I work with had this ring that a friend of hers from Italy made.   She wanted another one just like it but in different colors and asked me if I was able to make one like it.  I said sure!  ( I really never turn down a challenge unless I know that it is truly out of my league.)

The one with the gold stones is the original ring.  The one done in all Crystal AB is the replica that I made.  I was surprised at how easy it was to put together.  I meant to get progress pictures but I got so into the process that I completely forgot!  I'm considering making a tutorial for this pattern.  In the meantime here are a few pictures=)  

I wish that the photos did a better job of showing off the brilliance of the stones.  I had to take them on top of one of the Swarovski sample boxes which had way too much going on.  It sort of drowns it out but oh well haha.

And so it begins...

I have to say I always avoided these but I am at the point where I want something new. 

There won't be much to this first post as I am way past due to have a visit from the sandman but I just can't find myself ready to snooze away with all of these projects screaming in my head.  With a wedding DVD slideshow with custom graphics coming to an end it opens the way for the next thing in line.  =) 

At least now I have a place to document my things.   I guess I shall go ahead and get some sleep.  Tomorrow is going to be a busy day stoning ballroom dancing gowns.  I believe there is going to be some fringe waiting for me when I get to work.  Good night=)
